When you join ICOM NATHIST, you connect with a community of over 300 individuals and institutions, representing thousands of professionals across the world. There are opportunities to up-skill, to share your knowledge, to become involved with international conservation projects and, of course to attend meetings on wide-ranging topics, often in partnership with other international organizations.
To join ICOM NATHIST, it is necessary to be a member of ICOM. There are three steps to become a member of ICOM.
- Make sure there is an ICOM National Committee in your country by clicking here: http://icom.museum/the-committees/national-committees/
- Go to your country’s website and check to see if there is a national membership form. Fill in the national membership form and send it to your country’s membership contact.
- IIf there is no national form, complete the international form (below) and send it to membership [at] icom.museum
There are different membership forms depending on your profile:
Your petition will be examined by the National Committee of your country. If there is no National Committee in your country, it will be examined by ICOM Secretariat.
TO BECOME A MEMBER OF ICOM NATHIST
For individual members: Make sure to tick the ICOM NATHIST box on the individual membership form.
For institutional members: Tick the “natural sciences” box when you fill out the collections section of the institutional membership form.
It is a one-year membership valid for the current calendar year.
