    Hello!

It’s a pleasure to ask a question to ICOM Nathist!
First of all, I am a university student from South Korea.
Since Korea is the only country among OECD members who does not own a national museum of natural history, me and my other colleagues are intrigues to know more about natural history museum. So we are now in a research program competition sponsored by LG group to study abroad. As we are only just univ students we might not play an important role suggesting blueprints about Korean version of national museum of natural history museum but we are four passionate and enthusiastic youth who can spare our time to make intention of people to establishment and vision of natural history museum.
In order to know more and research about natural history museum, my team wants to interview ICOM nathist. Would it be possible to interview one of your employees?
I know that you are very busy and it would be irritating to answer my mail but if you can help us it would be a big meaning to us.
The explore will be in July or August and won’t take more than an hour!
Thanks for reading and will wait for the good news!

    Yours sincerely,
    Eunkyoung Chae

      Dear Eunkyoung Chae,

Thanks for contacting us. I would very happy to for you to contact me directly (eric.dorfman@outlook.com) to give you any information or ideas I can. I would, though, draw your attention to a number of natural history museums in South Korea:

Changjo Natural History Museum Siheung-dong, Siheung, Gyeonggi-do
Ewha Womans University Natural History Museum, Seoul
      Gyeoryongsan Natural History Museum
Seodaemun Museum of Natural History, Seoul http://namu.sdm.go.kr/

I have not been to any of these, but at least Seodaemun looks quite well developed. It could be that some contact with them could be fruitful.

      Kind regards,

      Eric Dorfman,
      President ICOM NATHIST
